The case of a Pennsylvania woman missing for more than five weeks came to a tragic end in Maryland, Daily Voice has learned. The body of Rebecca "Becky" Shanice Beamer-Hicks, 35, of Harrisburg, was recovered from the Susquehanna River Tuesday morning, April 9 in Harford County, a spokesman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police said. A witness told police the woman was struggling and possibly calling for help in the river before going under water around 10:30 a.m., Harrisburg police told Daily Voice.
