Philadelphia Man Raped Child, Chester County Court Finds A Philadelphia man was convicted on multiple felony counts including rape and indecent assault of a child in a Chester County court on Wednesday, Feb. 28, authorities say.  Gregory Shamberger, 59, first came under investigation in August 2021, Parkesburg police wrote in a release. Detectives said he sexually assaulted the victim multiple times. Chester County detectives assisted Parkesburg police in the investigation, the department said.  Shamberger was remanded to the Chester County Prison pending his formal sentencing hearing, authorities added.
