A suspended judge shot a man in the face while he was sleeping, blinding him in one eye, authorities alleged in a release on Thursday, Feb. 15.
Suspended Magisterial District Judge Sonya M. McKnight was arrested on attempted murder charges and related offenses on Feb. 15, the Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack detailed in a release that evening.

More than 24 hours after convicted murderer Danelo Cavalcante slipped past guards and escaped the Chester County prison, authorities say he is still at large.
