A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man is accused of grabbing a woman from a porta-potty, choking her until she couldn't breathe, and raping her in the back seat of his SUV after kidnapping her, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice.
Jared Trent Gower of Columbia Borough was charged with rape by forcible compulsion, kidnapping to facilitate a felony, strangulation, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, and simple assault in connection with the attack in Lancaster County, police announced Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Jose A. Cardona, of South Whitehall Township, was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
