Son Gets Help Honoring Mom Killed In East Hampton Motorcycle Crash With Dump Truck A Connecticut community is rallying around a grieving son after his mother was killed in a motorcycle crash.  Jaime Brouwer, 49, of Griswold, died after the motorcycle she was riding was involved in a crash with a dump truck in East Hampton on Aug. 27, police said. 2 Killed In Early-Morning Killingly Mobile Home Fire Two people were killed when flames swept through a mobile home in Connecticut.  Firefighters were called to the Fall Brook Park area in Killingly around 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, to reports of a home on fire and two residents missing.  The first Killingly engine crew attacked the fire while other firefighters searched the home. Crews found both victims inside the home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.  The Killingly and state fire marshal offices are investigating what caused the blaze.
