A Berks County man was charged with vehicular homicide for a fatal high-speed crash in Caernarvon Township on Monday, Sept. 30, according to police.
Matthew Slauch, 23, of Birdsboro, is accused of causing the death of Scott Wagner, 64, of Reinholds, who was killed in a crash at the intersection of Morgantown and Elverson roads that happened on Thursday, June 6, Caernarvon Township Police said.

A local government trash hauler was involved in a crash in which speeding was a factor, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Lanchei A. Williams, 45, of Philadelphia, crashed into a guardrail along the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway in Tinicum Township, Delaware County at about 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Williams suffered minor injuries and was taken to Taylor Hospital, police said.

The Biomat USA plasma donation center in the Manchester neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was rammed through by an SUV on Sunday-- killing three people and wounding others, say police.
The plasma donation center was struck by a speeding Hyundai Sante Fe in the 1300 block of Western Avenue around 11:35 a.m.
The people killed were the driver, Ronald K. Morgan, 50, of McKeesport along with two center employees Laura Elaine Meneskie, 35, of Pittsburgh, and Parveena Begum Abdul, 55, of Clairton, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner.

One person died and another was hospitalized in an overnight crash in Warwick Township, authorities said Saturday.
Renny Joel Kline, 21, was behind the wheel of a vehicle heading north on Highlands Drive when he crashed near the Breezy Knoll apartment complex around 1 a.m. April 17, police said.
Kline, of Lititz, was pronounced dead while his friend -- identified only as a young man who was friends with Kline -- was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
