Long Island Man Accused Of Trying To Break Into Motel Office Police have arrested a Long Island man for alleged attempted burglary at a motel. The incident took place in Nassau County at the Edgewood Motel around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 20 in Jericho. According to detectives, a 24-year-old male employee of the motel, located at 38 Jericho Turnpike, was approached at the front desk by a male resident complaining of a water leak in his room.
