A popular New Jersey diner served as the setting of the band Bleachers' latest music video. "Stop Making This Hurt" was filmed during the winter at the Bendix Diner on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights. The band's lead singer Jack Antonoff is a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist who grew up in New Milford. He also is the guitarist and drummer for the band "Fun." "Stop Making This Hurt" is part of the Bleachers' new album "Take The Sadness Out Of Saturday Night" out this summer.

A 17-year-old Hackensack driver fell asleep behind the wheel an instant before a head-on collision in New Milford that injured a Dumont motorist, authorities said. The young driver's northbound Hyundai Elantra crossed into the oncoming lane and slammed into the Volkswagen Tiguan just off the corner of East Woodland Road just after 7 p.m. Monday, Detective Lt. Firefighters Douse Downtown Bergenfield Blaze
Firefighters extinguished a smoky Saturday afternoon blaze that damaged four stores in a downtown Bergenfield commercial strip. Five alarms were sounded after the fire broke out between two stores in a string of businesses on South Washington Avenue just south of Bedford Avenue around 1:45 p.m. The call drew more than 100 firefighters to the scene. The blaze was contained and declared under control about an hour and 20 minutes later. No injuries were reported. A Wallington pizzeria owner from New Milford sexually touched at least three underage teens while trying to get them to have intercourse with him, authorities charged. Investigators were trying to determine whether Juan Cuello-Pina, 30, had contact with any other possible victims, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Fumes Clear Dumont High School
An exhaust fan broke, filling part of Dumont High School with neutralized sulfur fumes Monday afternoon, responders said. Neither the Science Department teacher involved nor any students or staff were injured or exposed in the incident just before 2 p.m., responders said. Dumont Fire Chief Mark Abdulla called the incident a ventilation issue and not a spill. Also responding were members of the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a Bergen County Hazardous Materials Unit and a New Milford Hazardous Materials team.
