North Jersey Dealer In OD Nabbed With 100 Heroin Folds, 70 Opioid Films, Police Say
The man who sold heroin to an individual who overdosed on it last month was found with more than 100 heroin folds, 70 opioid films and more, according to North Jersey authorities who arrested him.
Jason Keidel, 51, of Secaucus, was arrested on March 16 and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and several other drug charges, and lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Facility, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
Police on Feb. 4 responded to the parking lot at 10 Meadowlands Parkway on reports of an overdose, Miller said.

Fugitives In 7-Hour SWAT Hotel Standoff Had Dead Hand Grenade, 8 Loaded Guns, $36K, Police Say
A pair of fugitives were busted with a dead hand grenade, eight loaded weapons, more than $36,000 in cash, drugs and more during a 7-hour standoff that evacuated a North Jersey hotel Sunday night, authorities said Monday.
Rahim Harris, 42, of Newark, and Haneefha S. White, 39, of Johnstowns, PA, were arrested after a more than 7-hour standoff at the Extended Stay Hotel on Plaza Drive, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

PD: Hoboken Man Accused Of Selling Heroin Had Knife, $2K Cash, Stolen Housing Authority Card
Police in Hoboken arrested a man they say was found with heroin, a knife, $2,000 cash and a stolen housing authority card.
Stephen White, 52, was found with six grams of heroin in the area of 310 Jackson St. around 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Hoboken police said.
White also had a folding knife, $2,000 cash and a Housing Authority access card that wasn’t his, police said.
White, of Hoboken, was charged on a warrant with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and other drug and weapons offenses.

Off Duty Officer Nabs Hoboken Porch Pirates
A keen-eyed, off-duty police officer helped nabbed a pair of package thieves in Hoboken, authorities said.
Hoboken officer Tyrone Huggins spotted two men taking a package from an apartment building near 5th and Monroe streets Thursday Oct. 22 around 7:40 p.m., Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera said.
The man, later identified as Moises Cabrera and Justin Reyes, both of Union City, took the contents out from inside of the package then threw the box away in nearby bushes, police said.
Huggins followed Cabrera, 31, and Reyes, 28, until on-duty officers arrived and placed them under arrest near 720 Monro…
