Support Surges For Morris County Dad, 32, Critically Injured In Work Accident
Support is on the rise for a beloved Morris County father who was critically hurt in a work accident.
Michael McClain, 32, underwent emergency craniotomy surgery at Morristown Medical Center after a work accident on Saturday, April 2, according to a GoFundMe launched for the family’s expenses.
McClain remained in the Intensive Care Unit as of Tuesday, April 12, a campaign update says.
“There are still many unknowns with Michael’s journey but we remain positive and hopeful for the best outcomes,” reads the fundraiser. “It is a long journey but Michael is strong.”

Doctors aren't sure what caused the Oct. 7, 2021 seizure or heart attack, which left little Alayah brain-damaged and wheelchair-bound. To make matters worse, her mom Leah Butler, lost her job and is caring for her around the clock.

Ten families were displaced by a fast-moving fire that ripped through North Bergen buildings Monday, March 7, reports say.
The blaze broke out around 5 p.m. at a building at 1319 9th St., and spread quickly due to ferocious winds.
Several GoFundMes have been launched for the victims. Among them, Jackson Bravo, who lost his beloved pets in the blaze. More than $4,800 had been raised for him.
