Police reported the man suffered a "graze wound to his left clavicle" while sitting in his car at Derby Avenue and Grosso Boulevard, NBC said. Smith announced that a Putnam Valley man was arrested on an assault charge related to an incident earlier this month. Deputy Sheriff Joseph Diaz attended to a report of a domestic dispute at 49 Becker St. about 5 p.m. July 9. It was determined that Robert J. Tyra, 64, punched and pushed his wife in the chest, causing an injury in the process, authorities said.
