The crash, which happened on Friday, Jan. 17 around 1:45 p.m. in Putnam County, has left Route 9 closed in Garrison in the area of Old Highland Turnpike, the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services announced. Driver Rescued From Flipped Car In Northern Westchester
Firefighters had to free a driver from their overturned vehicle following a crash in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 6:20 a.m. when a car rolled over on Titicus Road (Route 116) in North Salem, the Croton Falls Fire Department said on Thursday, Jan. 16. Arriving fire crews found that the driver was trapped inside and worked to stabilize the vehicle with struts and cribbing. Hughson Road in the town of Carmel was closed from Stoneleigh Avenue to Cross Road as authorities investigated a death, Carmel Police announced on Thursday, Jan. 16. Carmel Police Lt.
