The event will feature music, dancing, arts, crafts, storytelling and circus arts, organizers said, adding that the event is geared specifically toward parents and their children.

The free day is to be held at the music hall at 13 Main St. and is open to the public with no tickets required, according to organizers.

The lineup includes FunikiJam World Music, a Nashville-based band that will be playing live music on the main stage; the Y Dance Academy, which will be performing a demonstration and a guided participation and inviting children up on stage to share in the performance; and the Westchester Circus Arts, which will be performing a demonstration and a guided participation that includes aerialists, jugglers and acrobats. The circus arts group also will invite to participate, organizers said.

The day also will feature a number of crafts, providing children the opportunity to paint birdhouses, create bird feeders, make springtime bracelets and more.

Sponsors for the event include Key Bank, Sun Blue, Franzoso Contracting, Kia of Westchester and Green Mountain Energy.
