According to Suffolk County Police, the woman was driving a 2014 Audi Q5 northbound in North Amityville on Route 110, near Ritter Avenue, when she rear-ended one vehicle and collided with another, causing the Audi to overturn at approximately 5:40 p.m. Sunday, June 23. Man Struck, Killed By Car In Front Of North Amityville Business Police are investigating an early-morning car crash that left a pedestrian dead in front of a Long Island business. The incident happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, on Route 110 in North Amityville, according to Suffolk County Police. A 59-year-old man was crossing the roadway in front of the Amityville Laundromat when he was struck by a southbound Hyundai Santa Fe. The victim died at the scene.
