Victim ID'd In Hit-Run Crash Killing 38-Year-Old Man In Plainview
Authorities have identified a man who police say was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Long Island on New Year's Day. Kevin Lawry, 38, of Plainview, was identified as the victim struck by 39-year-old Veronica Marmol, of College Point, Queens, heading east in a Jeep Wrangler at Old Country Road and Floral Avenue, just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
