Long Island Woman Busted With Drugs At Correctional Facility, State Police Say A 35-year-old woman was allegedly busted bringing drugs into a Hudson Valley correctional facility. The incident took place at the Ulster County Correctional Facility in Wawarsing on Sunday, Feb. 12. Man Armed With Knife Shot, Killed By NY State Trooper, Police Say A man was shot and killed by a trooper after threatening an officer with a knife during an incident in the Hudson Valley, according to New York State Police. It happened on Saturday, Sept. 9 in Ulster County. State Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to assist the Ulster County Mobile Mental Health crisis team at a residence in the town of Wawarsing located on Clark Road.
