Fatal Crash: 51-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim On Long Island
Police are investigating after a woman was killed in an overnight crash near an intersection on Long Island.
Stacy Worlds, age 51, was walking in Central Islip westbound across Carleton Avenue, between Earle Street and Elmore Street, when she was struck by a 2008 Hyundai Sonata traveling southbound on Carleton Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday, April 6, Suffolk County Police said.
World, a resident of Central Islip, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where she was pronounced dead.

Juan Bautista Miguitama-Aguilar, age 67, died on the night of Saturday, Feb. 3 in Bay Shore after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle, according to Suffolk County Police.
He was only three minutes away from his home.
Now, his family friends are hoping to raise enough money to help his loved ones say goodbye.

Two people were killed in separate Long Island crashes on Saturday, Aug. 5.
The first happened at around 2:45 p.m. in North Lindenhurst.
A 56-year-old West Babylon man was driving a 2008 Ford E250 van northbound on Straight Path, at the intersection of Wellwood Avenue, when his vehicle struck an electric scooter, Suffolk County Police said.

New details have been released after a longtime police officer and Hudson Valley resident was killed in a multi-vehicle Westchester crash.
Yonkers Police Department Sgt. Frank Gualdino, a resident of Putnam County who lived in Mahopac, age 53, was due to retire in nine months. He leaves behind a wife and two children, ages 14 and 20.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, in Yonkers. A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at Sacred Heart Church on Shonnard Place in Yonkers.

Woman Killed After Being Struck By Pickup Truck On Long Island Roadway
A Long Island woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing a roadway.
The incident took place in Mount Sinai around 10:55 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, on County Road 83.
According to Suffolk County Police, Ann Marie Montgomery, age 42, of Holtsville, was walking westbound on northbound County Road 83, north of Canal Road, when she was struck in the left lane by a 2018 Ford F150, driven by James Gerardi.
Montgomery was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician from Port Jefferson EMS, police said.
Gerardi, age 57, of Mount Sinai, was not injured.

Pedestrians Killed In Crash ID'd As Nassau County Residents
Two pedestrians struck and killed by an SUV in New Jersey before dawn have been identified as Long Island residents.
A Honda SUV was traveling in the eastbound lanes when it struck Richard Dennelly, age 73, and Maria Schellberg, age 55, both of Great Neck, near milepost 1.8 in Knowlton Township in northwestern New Jersey just after 3 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, NJSP Sgts. Philip Curry and Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice.
Both victims were killed in the crash, Curry said.
Meanwhile, the eastbound lanes were closed for about three hours, causing heavy traffic congestion.
