The Old Bethpage incident occurred on Friday, June 28, Nassau County Police said. At approximately 7:20 p.m., 64-year-old Cheryl Bergenstock was driving a 2023 Subaru Forester on Round Swamp Road. Near the intersection of Winding Road, Bergenstock, who was allegedly drunk at the time, hit a 2019 Toyota Corolla. Two Killed After SUV Crashes Into Tree In Nassau County An investigation is underway after two men were killed when an SUV crashed into a tree on Long Island.  The crash happened when the 2005 Ford SUV traveling on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 3:15 a.m. in Old Bethpage southbound on Round Swamp Road left the roadway and struck a tree, Nassau County Police said.  Upon police arrival, officers found two men who had been ejected from the vehicle. Both of the men, ages 31 and 29 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene by a police medic. Their names have not yet been released. A 25-year-old employee was operating a Nassau County Park golf cart at approximately 5:30 p.m. on the trails of the Old Bethpage Restoration on Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage with a 25-year-old female employee as his passenger.
