Cooking Oil Theft Sting Nets 2 Arrests On Long Island With the help of a private investigator, two men were charged on Long Island for allegedly stealing used cooking oil from several restaurants. The sting took place in Suffolk County are 3 a.m., Friday, July 21 in Wading River.
