With classes set to begin in days, an Islip High School teacher, a staff member at St. James Elementary School in Smithtown, and a member of the Merrick Avenue Middle School in Merrick have all been tested and are isolating. In Islip, contact tracing has already been completed, and all teachers administrators, and employees who were exposed have been tested and all were negative.
