Hit-Run Suspect Caught After Crashing Car Into Farmingdale Home, Police Say A 20-year-old man has been apprehended after crashing his car into a Long Island home and then leaving the scene. Calogero Messina, of Astoria, Queens, was arrested for an incident that happened in Farmingdale at about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
