Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By Van In Crosswalk Of Inwood Roadway
A Long Island woman was seriously injured after being hit by an SUV while in a crosswalk, according to authorities. The crash took place in Inwood around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16. According to Nassau County Police detectives, the 68-year-old woman was walking east on Bayview Avenue when she was struck in the crosswalk at Sheridan Boulevard by a man, age 73, driving a 2008 Toyota Sienna traveling southbound.
