Teen Critically Injured After Falling From Scaffold In Freeport

A teenage construction worker was critically injured and another person hurt after they fell about 30 feet from a makeshift scaffolding at a construction site on Long Island.

The incident occurred at a new home under construction on South Bayview Avenue in Freeport just before 2 p.m. Monday, July 1.

The teen, 17, reportedly hit his head after the fall.

Both victims were transported to South Nassau Hospital.
