Joseph Viola, Jr., 81, Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Joseph Viola, Jr., of North White Plains, died on Wednesday, May 27. He was 81.
Viola was born on Sept. 17, 1933, to Joseph and Eugenia (nee Massaro) Viola in White Plains. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as a truck driver with Local 456 of the Tea msters Union in Elmsford.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (DeMilta) Viola, his children, Jo-Ann Parrino of Peekskill, and Michael Flynn and his wife, Gale; his two grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Flynn, and his sister Margaret Zuzolo.

Silvano D. Cardoso, 73, Of Harrison
HARRISON, N.Y. – Silvano D. Cardoso, of Harrison, died on Tuesday, May 26. He was 73.
Cardoso was born in Abacao, Portugal, to Joao and Emilia Cardoso.
He is survived by his wife Celia (Santos) Cardoso, a son, Gabriel, and sister Carmen Cardoso.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Mary T. Acerbo, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died on Thursday, May 28. She was 89.
Acerbo was born on April 28, 1926, to Zopito and Genevera Passerelli Acerbo, graduating from Port Chester High School and was the supervisor of Payroll and Executive of Stock Options at Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Conn.
She was predeceased by her longtime companion Harry Hayes, brothers Sam and Rocco Acerbo and sister Anna Acerbo, and is survived by a brother Anthony Acerbo and his wife, Carolyn of Greenwich, Conn.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Mary Ellen "Marion" Leydon Troy, a longtime resident of Stamford, died on Sunday, May 24. She was 85.
Troy was born in Chicago on Jan. 21, 1930, to Joseph and Mary Ellen (nee Cullen) Leydon.
She was predeceased by her husband Augustine ("Gus") C. Troy, sister Loretta Leydon, brother Joseph Leydon, son-in-law Doug Pirc, and daughter-in-law Sarah Troy.
