HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Jeanette C. Kastner, of Hawthorne, died June 1. She was 76.
Kastner was born in the Bronx to Andrew and Anna Bombara in 1939.
She was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her husband Walter, her children, Marion Kastner of White Plains, Stephanie Nash and her husband Patrick of Atlanta, and Andrew C. Kastner and his wife Monica of New City, two grandchildren, Andrew Patrick and Caitlyn Catherine Kastner and several nieces, nephews and godchildren.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – June A. Delvalle, of White Plains, died on Friday, May 29. She was 88.
Delvalle was born on June 3, 1926, in New York City to Maurice and Beatrice (Fox) Ackerman. She graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
She worked as an occupational therapist until 1982 and then volunteered at White Plains Hospital Center.
Delvalle appeared in "Who's Who of American Women," "Who's Who In The East," "International Who's Who in Community Service," and "Community Leaders and Noteworthy Americans" from 1977 to 1980.

Raymond L. Hunt, 84, Of Yorktown
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Raymond L. Hunt, a longtime resident of Yorktown Heights. died on Saturday, May 30. He was 84.
Hunt was born on July 26, 1930, in Tarrytown to Leroy and Orpha (Risley) Hunt. He graduated from New York Trade School and worked for IBM in East Fishkill for more than 22 years until retiring in 1987.
Hunt is survived by his wife, Muriel; his son David and his wife, Tracie, daughter Mellissa Flannery and her husband, Kevin; and his grandchildren Brianna, Samantha and Jonathan, Blake, Kenny and Keegan.
He was predeceased by his sister Carol Merkel.

Samuel R. DeRocco, 93, Of Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. – Samuel R. DeRocco, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died on Sunday, May 31. He was 93.
DeRocco was born on Dec. 23, 1921, to Ruggiero and Comforina DeRocco. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946 and worked at Claremont School of the Ossining School District for 30 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Brown and Sandra Evans, son-in-law William H. Brown III, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris.

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Elizabeth Casella, of North Salem, died on Monday, May 25, at Northern Westchester Hospital Center. She was 86.
Casella was born on Aug. 17, 1928, to Paul and Elizabeth (nee Puccini) Scarcello in Eastchester, graduating from Eastchester High School and working at JFK High School in Somers.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Thomas, and is survived by her daughters, Paula Cassetta of San Antonio, Texas, and Christine Guignardi of North Salem and grandson, Paul Thomas Guignardi.

Dr. Anthony L. Brittis, 92, Of Bronxville
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Dr. Anthony L. Brittis of Bronxville, died on Friday, May 29. He was 92.
Brittis was born on Feb. 1, 1923, in Yonkers to Nicola and Maria Brittis.
He graduated from the New York University College of Medicine in 1948.
He entered the Army Medical Corps and served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring as a colonel in 1970. He practiced neurosurgery in Bronxville and Yonkers until his 2008 retirement.

Putnam Arts Council Holding Summer Programs
MAHOPAC, N.Y. – The Putnam Arts Council announced their schedule of summer programs, all planned to take place at the Belle Levine Art Center in Mahopac.
There will be a LOOK artists pop-up show from Saturday, June 13, to Sunday, June 21, with opening and closing receptions set for June 13 and 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. both days. The gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16 to Friday, June 19, and 12 to 5 p.m. on the weekends of the June 13 and 20.

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Alexander Karten, of Scarsdale, died on Sunday, May 31. He was 99.
Karten was born in Manhattan to Joseph and Fanny Karten. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and graduated from New York University.
He is survived by his wife, the former Irma Frieder; a son Joseph and his wife, Cleotilde; and grandchildren Eric, Adam, Steven, Stephanie, Maia Linda, and Carrie Lynne Faith.
