Wine, Beer Tasting Benefits Ossining Children's Center OSSINING, N.Y. – The Ossining Children's Center held a wine and beer tasting event to benefit their work at the Marriott in Tarrytown on the May 28. The event was sponsored by Croton's Van Wyck Wines and Liquors, and featured food from local restaurants 105-10, the Briarcliff Manor and Del Sol Bakery. A crowd of roughly 200 people attended the event, which featured a silent auction.

Greenwich Education Center Hosts Annual Garden Tour GREENWICH, Conn. – The Garden Education Center of Greenwich has set Thursday as the date for its annual garden tour. The Glory of the Garden will host the kickoff for the event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The event is designed to give residents a chance to stroll through five private gardens in the area and also have lunch. Organizers plan to take residents through the variety of landscapes in the region, from mid-country estates to the waterfront.
