Trio Arrested In Pharmacy Theft After I-95 Pursuit, Westport Police Say WESTPORT, Conn. — Three people were arrested Saturday after they broke into a Westport pharmacy and led state and local police in a pursuit through Fairfield and Westport and onto I-95, police said. At 2 a.m., officers received a report of a larceny at a Westport pharmacy and descriptions of the woman, two men and van involved, police said. Food Pantry Donations Large And Small Make Holidays Merry In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The Black Rock Food Pantry — and the hundreds of families it serves — had much to be thankful for this holiday season. In the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, the Princeton Street pantry received large food donations from Bridgeport’s St. Ann Church, Unquowa School in Fairfield and the Torch Club of Wakeman Boys & Girls Club. Employees of J.C. Penney in Trumbull also took up a collection and Ray Corby of the S.S. Norden Club held a benefit dinner, raising $4,000. Police: New York Man Threatens To 'Knock Out' Cops Outside Fairfield Bar FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A New York man who threw a drink at a bouncer, tried to fight with fellow patrons and threatened to “knock out” a police officer was arrested early Saturday outside a Sanford Place bar, police said. Security staffers at Crave Bar & Grill repeatedly asked Aaron Tomlinson, 22, of Bronx, N.Y., to leave the bar because he was bothering other patrons and threw a drink at security, police said. Fairfield Police: Potential Dirt Bike Buyer Never Returns From 'Test Drive' FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A South Salem, N.Y., man lost his $1,200 dirt bike Friday when a potential buyer took it on a “test drive” and never came back, police said. The seller, who had listed the 2002 Honda CR80 on LetGo.com, agreed to show the bike to the teen suspect in the Kohl’s parking lot on Greenfield Street, police said. Once there, the suspect asked for a test drive and was last seen riding the red and white bike east on Villa Avenue around 11:40 a.m., police said.

Police: Fairfield Man Chased Stepbrother With A Knife On Thanksgiving FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield man was arrested on Thanksgiving when he got into a drunken fight with his stepbrother and chased him with a knife, police said. Solar Carports At Fairfield High School Spell Big Energy Cost Savings FAIRFIELD, Conn. —Fairfield Ludlowe High School students will stay dry and the town will save money, thanks to solar-power carports officially launched by the town this month. The school’s solar array, including the panels on Ludlowe’s roof, will generate two-thirds of the electricity used by the school.
