More than five years after a 24-year-old man was shot multiple times inside a Westchester County, NY apartment building, the Connecticut man accused of killing him has admitted to murder.
Hartford resident Claismar Abreu Then, 32, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Thursday, Sept. 24, in Westchester County Court, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, Sept. 25.

NY Mom Arrested For Murder In 10-Year-Old Daughter’s Death: Police
A New York mom has been arrested in the killing of her 10-year-old daughter, police announced Friday, Sept. 25.
Angelica Sullivan, 30, of Ellenville, was charged with killing Kathleen Elizabeth Pulido on Aug. 18, 2025, New York State Police said.
State troopers did not reveal additional details about the case. Kathleen’s death was initially reported as a medical emergency.
