Alligator Captured In Central Jersey
The elusive alligator that kept a Central Jersey park closed for more than a week was captured about 400 yards from where it was first spotted Wednesday, Aug. 30, authorities said. On Thursday night, Sept. 7, officers from the Piscataway Police Department found the 4-foot-long gator near 2nd Avenue, in the roadway in front of a home around 10:10, Middlesex police said. NJ Woman Found Dead In Lake Alongside Her Baby Was Mourning Loss Of Her Dad
The woman who died alongside her 9-month-old son after their car was found in a Central Jersey pond had been mourning the loss of her own father, according to her posts on social media. The bodies of Tamequa Robinson, 30, of Edison, and her baby boy were pulled from their car in Piscataway's New Market Pond around 5:35 Tuesday morning, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Central Jersey Middle School Teacher Arrested For Alleged Sex Attack On Child
A 53-year-old middle school teacher from Piscataway has been arrested for sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said. Harry Wyatt, a teacher at Leonard V. Moore Middle School in the the Roselle School District in Union County, was arrested on Christmas Eve, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Piscataway Police Chief Thomas Mosier. A Jamaica, NY woman was killed while her husband and two toddlers survived a Route 287 Piscataway crash with serious injuries, authorities said. Amarjit Fnu, 37, also of Jamaica, NY, was behind the wheel of a Toyota Rav 4 when the car veered off the roadway, crashed into a tree and overturned just south of Exit 7 at around 3:35 a.m. Thursday, New Jersey State Police Lt.
