Bud Bus Owner Bill Schlette Arrested A 46-year-old Rockland County, NY man has been arrested for illegally selling marijuana out of a big purple van in New Jersey, authorities said. Bud Bus Inc. Founder William Schlette, of West Nyack, was charged with deceptive business practices, money laundering, and drug offenses, according to Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picone. Firefighters Battle Frelinghuysen Chimney Fire Firefighters in Frelinghuysen Township battled a chimney fire that saw heavy smoke billowing on Monday evening, Jan. 22, the Allamuchy Fire Department said on Facebook and shared in a photo. At 9:20 p.m. the fire department responded to Heller Road in Frelinghuysen for fire. Firefighters requested mutual aid upon arrival after finding a working chimney fire that had spread to the attic, firefighters said.  Firefighters spent two hours on scene before clearing the area at 11:30 p.m., firefighters said. There were no reports of any injuries.

Woman Airlifted With Head Injury After Falling Off Horse In Warren County, State Police Say A woman was airlifted after falling off of a horse in Warren County Sunday evening, state police said. Emergency crews rushed to the scene on Stillwater Road in Frelinghuysen Township after receiving the report around 5 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The woman was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of a head injury, Curry said.
