Victim Hospitalized After Shooting In Bergen County UPDATE: A man was in serious condition but expected to survive after being shot Thursday night in Cresskill's East Hill neighborhood, responders said. The 25-year-old victim was rushed into surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening following the shooting at 10 Center Street, near County Road, they said. Pair Of Abandoned Kittens Found Soaked, Freezing Behind Phillipsburg Building The Phillipsburg Animal Control Department is seeking clues after two kittens were found abandoned and freezing wet behind a local dialysis center. The kittens were found Wednesday behind Fresenius Kidney Care on Center Street, the department said. The kittens were “saturated in a wet substance and freezing,” authorities said. Anyone who recognizes the kittens or has information about this incident is asked to contact Phillipsburg Animal Control at 610-721-0762.
