Born in Dover, Carrie was raised in Netcong, where she attended Lenape Valley Regional High School, her obituary says.

She loved to spread laughter and joy wherever she went and had a personality that radiated strength and positivity.

“She was full of life and could light up the room when she walked in,” reads her obituary.

Above all, Carrie embraced her role as a dedicated mother to her four children and cherished spending time and making memories with them.

Carrie leaves behind her loving sons, Ronald (Cat) Mulford, Anthony (Haley) Mulford, and Michael Mulford; her beloved daughter, Jaiden Mulford; her sisters; Christie (Tom) Wisniewski; Keisha (Dustin) Keith; as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe launched for her children’s support had surpassed $2,400 in just two days.

“Our cousins Ronnie, Anthony, Michael and Jaiden have experienced an unimaginable tragedy,” reads the campaign. “Their mother became sick, and passed away quickly and unexpectedly…If anyone would be willing to share and/or donate we would be extremely grateful.”

Carrie’s memorial was scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 3 at Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown.

“These poor kids have already been through so much, and had to make choices no kids this young should have to make,” reads the fundraiser.
