An 18-year-old man playing with a gun accidentally shot his friend in South Jersey, authorities said. Jah-son Jones, of Pemberton, was at 19-year-old Nasiah Carson's home on South Coles Avenue in Maple Shade, when the two were playing with a handgun that they thought was unloaded, and Jones pointed it at Carson squeezed the trigger around 3:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Fooling Around With Guns At Jersey Shore Party Leads To Man's Death: Report
Three friends were partying and handling guns when a firearm was accidentally discharged, killing one of them, NJ Advance Media reported. Efrain Cruz Jr. was trying to load a semi-automatic handgun when Pedro Hernandez Jr., 56, was shot in the chest at a home on McDermott Street in Freehold Borough Sunday, the outlet said. A 45-year-old man from Monmouth County has been charged with reckless manslaughter in a shooting, authorities said. A 14-year-old has been charged in the deadly March shooting of a Trenton teen, authorities announced. The male suspect — whose name was not released — was charged with reckless manslaughter and providing false information to law enforcement, both second-degree offenses, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.
