A movie production studio in Carteret got a financial boost from New Jersey through a $4.7 million state grant. It's part of a $1 billion, 10-acre redevelopment project, according to Carteret Mayor Daniel J. Reiman. Indoor Sports Complex Approved As Latest Addition To Cape May Airport
A large indoor sports complex is coming to Cape May County, featuring year-round space for sports like soccer and lacrosse. The commission for the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) unanimously approved a resolution to enter a lease agreement with Aviation Sports Complex LLC. The DRBA announced the agreement on Tuesday, Jan. 30. The developer is planning to build an 80,000-square-foot domed facility at Cape May Airport. Lionsgate Production Studio Expected To Bring 600 Jobs To NJ's Largest City
The largest city in New Jersey is about to get some major movie attention and it's going to need a big crew to keep it afloat. Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka and Governor Phil Murphy recently announced that Lionsgate will be opening a brand new 12-acre TV and film complex in Newark, worth more than $125 million. Cinnaminson township authorized an agreement last week with Delco Development LLC to build a new Chick-fil-A restaurant on Route 130 South. $750M Cancer Pavilion Project Planned For Middlesex County
Middlesex County is investing $25 million in a new Cancer Pavilion project set to open in about three years, officials announced. The state's first free-standing comprehensive cancer pavilion was detailed during a Wednesday video-call. The entire project is expected to cost $750 million.
