A New Jersey bus driver was arrested for drunk driving with 23 students on board the bus, police said. A Pennsylvania man will spend at least two decades in prison for killing two people during an illegal car rally in Wildwood, authorities said. Gerald White, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 8 to 25 years in prison, for killing two people at the violent H2oi car rally in 2022, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced. A 74-year-old motorcyclist from South Jersey was killed when he struck a car making a U-Turn, authorities said. Thomas Pitt of Clayton was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the fatal crash occurred, Clayton police said. UPDATE: A man from Philadelphia and another from South Jersey admitted their roles in a major drug trafficking ring that dealt meth and fentanyl, federal authorities said. Kevin Salmon, 25, had 5½ pounds of meth and two guns in his home when it was raided by authorities, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
