Four Inches Of Snow Forecasted Along Jersey Shore Overnight
Many parts of the Jersey Shore avoided the snow during a pre-Valentine's Day winter storm, but the coast doesn't appear to be dodging it this time. The National Weather Service said the Jersey Shore could see two to four inches of snow overnight and in the morning on Saturday, Feb. 17. All counties in South Jersey are under a winter weather advisory for the duration of the storm, with some winter storm warnings expected. Man Accused Of Grisly New Year's Day Murder In Atlantic City
A Cape May County man has been charged with stabbing another man to death in Atlantic City on New Year's Day. Atlantic County prosecutors said 30-year-old Vincent Oglesby of Woodbine was arrested in Pleasantville at around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Oglesby is accused of killing 50-year-old Richard Vincent O'Brien III by stabbing him in the neck. Atlantic City police found O'Brien bleeding on the unit block of South California Avenue just after 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1. Police Pull Distraught Man Off Ledge Of Atlantic City Parking Garage
Atlantic City police pulled a distraught man from the ledge of a parking garage earlier this month, authorities said. On Sept. 10, t 3:03 p.m., police officers responded to the top floor of a parking structure in reference to a man who was lying on the ledge continually looking over. Surveillance Center personnel were able to locate the man on camera and provide the responding officers with real-time information, police said on Thursday, Sept. 21. Motorcyclist Killed In Atlantic City Crash: Police
A 61-year-old motorcyclist from Pleasantville was killed in a crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday, June 18 near mile marker 54 on the eastbound lanes of Route 30, Atlantic City police said. Police found that Pearl Matthew had been ejected from his seat. He was pronounced dead at the crash scene. A preliminary investigation, that included witness statements, revealed that Matthews left the roadway and struck a pole. ATVs and dirt bikes are no longer allowed to fill up their tanks at the gas pumps in Atlantic City, NJ Advance Media reported. City officials passed a new law, by a 7-2 vote for the new restriction which follows an earlier ban on all local roads. Now, ATVs and dirt bikes must be in a trailer or the back of a truck to have their gas tanks filled up, the outlet said. UPDATED: A 60-year-old woman jumped off the parking garage at Harrah's Casino, authorities said. The woman, whose name was not released, was from Rio Grande. A 58-year-old man from Pleasantville has admitted to killing a woman in Atlantic City in 2018, authorities said.
