Stella Jacewich, 95, Of North Arlington NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Stella Jacewich (Krynicki ), a North Arlington resident, died Thursday, Dec. 31 at the Hackensack University Medical Center. She was 95.  Born in Jersey City she lived in North Arlington for the past 55 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Queen of Peace Church and the North Arlington Nutrition Center.  Jacewich was predeceased by her husband Frank Jacewich and her parents Frances (Brozozowska) and Felix Krynicki. She is survived by her daughter Dr. Linda Mary Jacewich and many nieces and nephews.

Elmwood Park Bombers Celebrates 56th Year At Annual Dinner ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- The Elmwood Park Bomber youth football and cheerleading program celebrates its 56th annual sports dinner fundraiser on Jan. 27 at the Venetian in Garfield. Football players and cheerleaders attend free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets will be sold from 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 7, 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 9, and from 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 11 at the Bomber Hut at the recreation complex at 500 Boulevard. Last year a record 430 people attended this fundraiser.
