Madison Police Patrolman Patrick Strafaci responded “within seconds” to the area of Main Street near Station Road after a caller stated that a man was lying unresponsive on the sidewalk around 12:10 p.m., authorities said. Fairchild and Hillside emergency crews responded to the Westin Governor Morris on Whippany Road in Morristown after the leak was reported in the early morning hours, the Fairchild Fire Company said on Facebook. The department evaluated carbon monoxide levels on each of the hotel’s six floors and secured issues with its boiler systems, authorities said. Police were called to Orchard Street after the man went unconscious while working in a home shortly after 12:30 p.m., authorities said. Close CALL: Tree Falls On Madison House No injuries were reported after a tree fell onto the roof of a Madison house.  Aside from a shutter being knocked out of place of the Valley Road home, no structural damage was reported in the Wednesday afternoon incident, Lieutenant John Miscia said. The tree fell Wednesday at approximately 3:30 p.m., and brought response from the borough's police, fire and building departments. First responders worked to remove the tree to avoid more serious injury, Miscia said.
