Motorist Crashes, Killed After 'Medical Episode' In South Jersey A 71-year-old driver died after striking a tree during a "medical episode," authorities said. The crash occurred on Friday, May 12 at 3:57 p.m. on County Road 649 northbound at milepost 3.5 in Commercial Township, New Jersey State Police said. Preliminary investigation revealed that a VW Passat, driven by Ingrid Hillman, of Egg Harbor Township. was traveling north, State Police said. Hillman had an unknown medical episode causing her to cross over the center line into a wooded area and ultimately striking a tree, police said. NJ State Police Identify Woman, 61, Killed In Electrical House Fire A 61-year-old woman from South Jersey was killed in a house fire, authorities said. The fire was reported at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on Hands Mills Road in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County, according to New Jersey State Police. One person was killed, and two others were injured, according to NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota. The victim was identified as Celeste A. Crispo of Maurice River Township, Slota said.
