𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: The last of four men who admitted stealing more than $1.5 million worth of luxury cars in New Jersey, Rockland County, Long Island and Connecticut was sentenced to nearly 3½ years in federal prison.
Malik Baker, 30, of Vauxhall, and his three co-conspirators stashed at least 10 of the vehicles at a central location in Irvington, NJ, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip Sellinger said.

A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Burington County was killed when another driver made an illegal left turn, authorities said.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, at 07:56 p.m., the Evesham Police Department responded to Route 73 and Dutch Road for a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, it was determined that a motorcycle and truck were involved in a collision.
The operator of the motorcycle, Tyler Ciabattoni, was pronounced dead at the scene, Evesham police said.

The last of four men caught stealing more than $1.5 million worth of luxury cars in New Jersey, Rockland County, Long Island and Connecticut took a guilty plea on Thursday, federal authorities announced.
Like his pals, Malik Baker, 29, of Vauxhall, NJ, took a deal from the government, pleading guilty in federal court in Newark on Oct. 19 to conspiring to transport stolen vehicles in interstate commerce and receiving a stolen vehicle that had crossed state lines after being stolen.
U.S. District Judge Esther Salas scheduled Baker's sentencing for March 7, 2024.

Several parts of New Jersey were under tornado watches and warnings, as per the National Weather Service on Saturday, April 1.

A 52-year-old man from South Jersey was killed in a crash, NJ Advance Media reports.
The man from Marlton was driving a Honda Accord west on South Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 when he tried to turn left, the outlet said, quoting Monroe Township Police.
The car was turning across the eastbound lanes when it was struck near its rear passenger side by a Chevrolet Corvette that was heading east, the outlet said.

Two people died after a driver lost control and struck a pole in a Franklin Township crash Tuesday night, NJ Advance Media reports citing local police.
Tad M. Richardson, 27, of Franklinville, lost control of a Toyota Camry on the eastbound side of the 2600 block of Harding Highway, crossed over the center line and struck the pole on the left side of the road around 11:45 p.m., authorities said.
