Mom Critical After Wall Township BF's Machete Attack With Child Nearby, Prosecutor Says A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after attacking his girlfriend with a machete in the parking lot of an apartment complex last week. Alex J. Williams' girlfriend was found suffering serious injuries in the parking lot of the  Glen Oaks Apartment Complex on Thursday, May 23, when police arrived around 9:20 a.m., Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Double-Shooting Investigated On Jersey Shore Authorities are investigating a double shooting that took place on the Jersey Shore. At 7:14 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, members of the Freehold Borough Police Department responded to the 70 block of Center Street for the report of a shooting incident.  Police found two victims, a male and a female, suffering from gunshot wounds.
