Third Person Charged In 2016 Neptune Township Murder Of 20-Year-Old Man
A third person has been arrested in the shooting death of a Bradley Beach man nearly eight years ago, authorities said.
Stephon Keys, 31, of Neptune Township, was already in state prison in a separate case when he was served his charges, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced on Friday, Jan. 12.

Jersey Shore Swimmer, 19, Dies Week After Rescue
A swimmer from New York who was pulled from the ocean off Bradley Beach on Friday, July 7 died in the hospital on Thursday, July 14, authorities said.
Colin Martin, 19, of New York, was swimming to the shore of the Kent Avenue beach in Bradley Beach when he was rescued.
“The medics worked on him and were able to get a pulse back,” Bradley Beach Police Chief Leonard Guida told NJ Advance Media last week.
Martin was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition until his death, authorities said.

Lifelong New Jersey resident John Komanitsky died on March 7, 2021. He was 29 years old.
John was born in Plainfield but lived in Bradley Beach for the last five years, his obituary says.
He was a motorcycle mechanic for Indian Motorcycle in Neptune, and enjoyed riding, working on cars and being with his son, according to his obit.

A longtime Jersey Shore food bank employee died Monday of complications from the coronavirus.
Diana Tennant, 51, a mother of three from Bradley Beach worked for Fulfill — formerly known as The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties — for a dozen years.
“It is an incredibly sad day at Fulfill, as we lost a champion for the hungry, a dedicated colleague, and a dear friend,” said Kim Guadagno, Fulfill CEO and president and former lieutenant governor of New Jersey.
