A Galloway Township man was indicted after he was accused of stabbing a police officer and injuring another one, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 30-year-old Keith Kiminsky for attempted murder on Wednesday, June 26, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Missing NYC Man Identified From Human Remains Found In South Jersey Woods: Prosecutors
A New York City man missing for more than a decade has been identified from human remains found in Atlantic County, authorities said. Kevin Morris was recently identified from the remains discovered in Galloway Township on Monday, June 7, 2021, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Monday, May 13. More than 50 people were arrested after police broke up a large cockfighting ring in Atlantic County, authorities said. Galloway Township police executed a search warrant at a home on the 300 block of South Bremen Avenue on Saturday, Mar. 9, the department said in a news release. A Wildwood Crest man was arrested after more than two dozen dogs and cats were found living in poor conditions in Atlantic County, authorities said. Galloway Township police said 23-year-old Jason Millar was charged with cruelty to animals after officers went to a house on Zurich Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 10, to follow up on an animal complaint. Heroin Kingpin Who Ran Fatal Drug Ring From Atlantic County Jail Eligible For Parole In 9 Years
A man who ran a heroin-selling network from the Atlantic County Jail was sentenced, authorities said. Emery Chapman, 44, of Pleasantville, was sentenced to 21 years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced on Friday, Feb. 2. Chapman will be eligible for parole after nine years and once he's released, he'll have five years of "intensive parole supervision" under the No Early Release Act.
