NJ Inmate Murdered Fellow Prisoner: Prosecutor
A 23-year-old East Orange man was charged with murdering an inmate at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility in Chesterfield, authorities said Friday, July 31. On Friday, July 17, correctional officers found Yasin Sellers slumped on the floor and unresponsive in a prison gymnasium following a religious service, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said. Sellers was pronounced dead at the scene, Bradshaw said. An investigation determined Sellers collapsed after being assaulted by Banton, Bradshaw said.

A pedestrian was injured after he was struck by vehicle while fleeing Immigration and Customs Enforcement Friday morning, July 31, authorities said.
