Driver Arrested In Hit-Run Crash That Left 10-Year-Old Girl Critical: Police A 28-year-old driver has been arrested in an alleged hit-and-run crash, authorities said. The crash in Bridgeton left a 10-year-old girl in critical condition, they said. Sierra A. Thomas, of Bridgeport, was charged Thursday, May 11 with knowingly leaving a motor vehicle accident that resulted in serious injury and endangering an injured victim, police said. South Jersey Girl, 10, Critical After Hit-Run Crash A 10-year-old girl from Bridgeton is in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said. The girl was crossing East Broad Street near a Wawa in Bridgeton at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, Bridgeton police said.  She was struck by a white SUV, pictured above, that fled. The girl was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital. The SUV went north on Bank Street Extension heading toward East Commerce Street, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
