An armed 43-year-old man who burst into a Charles County car dealership and acted like a commando while brandishing a gun is facing a host of charges, according to the sheriff's office. Some Metro riders in Southeast DC got a scare on Thursday afternoon after first responders evacuated a station and temporarily suspended service due to smoky conditions caused by a fire. Shortly after 1 p.m. on Feb. 15, DC Fire and EMS personnel reported that they were called to the Eastern Market Metro station, where there was smoke on the platform, officials say.
