Pedestrian Killed Returning U-Haul After Maryland Move Remembered By Friends, Well-Wishers
A community is reeling after a beloved 53-year-old man was killed by a motorist after dropping off a U-Haul following a recent move into Montgomery County. Dominique Mwepu was identified this week as the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Monday night by the driver of a Honda near the intersection of Frederick Road and High Point Drive. Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing Girl Who Walked In During Burglary In Maryland, Police Say
A 33-year-old man has been arrested following a break-in where he allegedly raped an underage girl who came home while he was burglarizing their apartment in Montgomery County, police say. Eric Bacon was arrested and charged with burglary and first-degree rape of a minor late last month, now investigators are concerned that there could be additional victims. Driver Charged With Negligent Homicide For Fatal 2022 Maryland Crash: Police
More than a year after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County, police say that a man has been arrested. On Thursday, the Montgomery County Department of Police announced that Germantown resident Jose Antonio Garcia, 45, is facing charges following a 2022 crash that took the life of 30-year-old Jose Vidal Urias Beltran and injured several others. Suspect At Large In Maryland After Assaulting 7-Eleven Clerk, Stealing Property: Police
Surveillance footage has been released of a suspect who attacked an employee with pliers in an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven in Montgomery County, authorities say. Investigators are hoping releasing the footage will assist in identifying the suspect who robbed the store in the 15800 block of Frederick Road the afternoon of Sunday, July 10, according to Montgomery County Police.
