Unruly Greater Boston Area Man Charged With DUI At Private CT Club: Police
An unruly 74-year-old man was charged with allegedly driving while intoxicated after police were called to a private Fairfield County beach club. Peter Welsh, of Middlesex County in Marlborough, Massachusetts, was arrested on Wednesday, June 19, at the Tokeneke Beach Club in Darien. According to Sgt. Mauricio Vigil of the Darien Police, officers were called to the club on a report of a possible unruly, intoxicated man. A 49-year-old Wilmington woman was arrested while driving drunk and speeding in Reading, authorities said. It was the second time she's been busted driving while intoxicated. Megan Nagarian was arrested on Thursday, June 20, and charged with operating under the influence (second offense), marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and two counts of child endangerment while operating under the influence, Reading police said. A 31-year-old Massachusetts woman was arrested this week in connection with a boat crash that occurred this summer causing herself and one other person to be hospitalized, authorities said. Ivonne Pena, of Boston, was charged with two felonies: reckless conduct and aggravated boating while intoxicated after being arrested on Monday, Nov. 28. New Hampshire State report.
