A Waltham man was found guilty of negotiating with what he believed to be a human trafficker to have sex with a child, authorities said. Misael Fabian Medina, 38, was convicted of one count of attempted sex trafficking of a child; and one count of attempted coercion and enticement, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. A Massachusetts sex offender has been charged with possessing child pornography after an investigation allegedly uncovered hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his cell phone. State police dive teams searched the Charles River on Monday morning, March 11, after two explosives were found there last week.
