Woman Accused Of Driving Wrong Way While Intoxicated In Hartford County A 54-year-old Connecticut woman was caught driving in the wrong direction while allegedly under the influence. The Hartford County incident occurred on Sunday, Feb. 12 around 12:15 p.m. in South Windsor. According to said Sgt. Mark Cleverdon of the South Windsor Police. Middlesex County resident Annellie M. Reed, of East Hampton, was spotted by an officer driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Route 5. Dogs Bitten In Face By Rattlesnake In Yard Of Home In Region Two pet dogs were rushed to a Connecticut veterinary clinic after they were bitten by a rattlesnake. Pieper Veterinary reported that a 3-year-old Vizsla named Tanner and a 10-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix named Listo were both bitten in the face by a timber rattlesnake in Hartford County in the yard of their Glastonbury home on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Their owner rushed them to the veterinarian's emergency room in Middletown, and the dogs were given medications and anti-venom. Two Killed, Another Seriously Injured In Four-Vehicle Crash In Region Two people were killed and a third suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Connecticut, police said. Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 in Hartford County, Newington Police Chief Stephen Clark said that there were two confirmed fatalities in a four-vehicle crash that happened near the intersection of East Cedar Street and Patricia M.
